“Remembering Our Fallen” is a photographic war memorial (national and state-specific) created to remember our country’s Fallen who have died in The War on Terror. Because 9/11/2001 was such a defining moment for so many Americans, this memorial includes our Fallen since that tragic day in our nation's history.
Unlike most war memorials made of brick and mortar, this one includes both military and personal photos of our Fallen. It is designed to travel to offer more people the opportunity to remember our Fallen while being reminded of the tremendous cost of our freedom. Its legacy will be that these men and women will be remembered and their names will be spoken, while hopefully, helping to lessen the grief of their families.
National Memorial Coming Soon
An all-encompassing national memorial is being produced with a planned completion date of Summer, 2017. This memorial will include our country's 6,852 Fallen. It will also be expanded to add over 300 private contractors killed in the war zone, as well as our military who have died from attacks at home, training accidents, or while working and on active duty, whether stateside or overseas. This beautiful display will consist of 45 Tribute Towers supporting double-sided and full-color banners to withstand the elements, making it possible to be exhibited outdoors.
We Need Your Help to Complete the National Memorial
- Help us contact Gold Star Families so they may know about this opportunity to submit their Fallen Hero's information and photos. Please share this web site and ask them to add their Fallen Hero. There is no cost to the families. If a family has already provided photos for their loved one for a state memorial, there is no need to re-submit for the national memorial.
- Make a Donation to support the production of the national memorial.
- Reserve the National Memorial in 2017 - We hope to have the national memorial 80-90% completed to begin traveling in the Summer of 2017. If you are interested in reserving the memorial for a mid-2017 event or later, please contact us.
Our mission began by creating state-specific memorials, of which 19 have been completed, representing 60% of our country's Fallen. We thank Bellevue University of Bellevue, Nebraska for sponsoring these 19 state memorials, now traveling to indoor venues within their respective states. If you are interested in bringing one of these memorials to your community, please check the schedule on the Tour Page for your state. Please contact us if you do not see your state listed, but would like to help make that possible by assisting us in getting it completed.
We honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
