"Man does not die until he is forgotten"
“Remembering Our Fallen” is a war memorial that consists of individual state exhibits created to remember our country’s Fallen from The War on Terror since the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001. But unlike most war memorials made of brick and mortar, these are designed to travel so that more people can have the opportunity to remember our Fallen while being reminded of the tremendous cost of our freedom. Its legacy will be that these men and women will be remembered and their names will be spoken.
Each individual state exhibit includes military and personal photos of our Fallen who called that state home and died from wounds suffered in the war zone while wearing our country’s uniform.
Our mission to create an exhibit for every state began in 2011, and we hope to achieve that goal by 2016, when all 50 exhibits will be brought together for a National Tour. Until that time, the completed exhibits remain in their home state and travel to hometowns of the Fallen and other communities, often enhanced by Legion or Patriot Guard Rider escorts and opening ceremonies.
